We currently are seeking candidates for a Development Manager. Sales and marketing experience is strongly preferred; individuals must be aggressive, motivated, hungry, self-starters who are cultural fits in a high-volume sales environment. We are looking for talented, aggressive individuals willing to join our team, learn our business and learn to develop lasting relationships with current and potential development candidates.
Developing and executing on targeted direct mail campaigns.
Making initial calls to direct mail targets, franchise opportunity inquiries from a variety of sources or other potential franchise candidates; THIS POSITION INVOLVES DAILY TELEPHONE CALLS TO NEW AND EXISTING CANDIDATES MOVING THROUGH THE SALES PIPELINE.
Manage candidate database.
Prepare monthly/period reports for clients.
Follow up with candidates throughout the sales process, as needed.
Effectively develop and maintain relationships.
Develop an understanding of our clients’ business, competitors and differentiators.
Qualify new franchise prospects based on client company criteria.
Manage communication, including calls and correspondence on behalf of clients.
Ensure sales efforts are compliant with all applicable laws and regulation; Ensure proper disclosure practices.
Effectively utilize a PC/Mac, familiar with CRM database software.
Update and maintain client sales database sales for management activity reports.
Attend various franchise events, and conventions as needed.
Ability to work with strategic partners.
Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications:
Candidates should have a sales and/or marketing background with a desire to grow into a senior sales role. Candidates should show a willingness to learn, an ability to work within a team sales structure, be self-motivated and possess a passionate desire to exceed expectations. This is a consultative sales position that requires sales, marketing and consulting ability.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, time management, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ability to prioritize activity, problem solving skills and the desire to both win and to grow professionally are critical to success in this role. This role requires the ability to self motivate, manage your own schedule to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner and the ability to work as part of a team while learning daily.
Compensation: Salary, Bonus and Commission.
