Our expert technicians will provide you the best possible repair options for it.Q: Do you offer any type of warranty on the repairs?A: Yes, all repairs carry a 180 day parts warranty which means incase of any manufacturing defects on the parts we install, we will replace it at no additional cost. This includes common repairs like battery replacement, screen repair, camera repair, etc. Our standard Terms and Conditions apply.Q: Can my phone be repaired while I wait in one of your locations?A: Almost all repairs like screen replacement, battery replacement, back-glass repair etc. on Apple, Samsung and Google devices can be completed within 30 minutes while you wait at an iFixScreens store. The only repairs that may take more time are the water damage or motherboard repair service and the some repairs that require ordering a part that we do not have in the stock.Q: Are the prices the same in all repair locations and online?A: No, the prices found on iFixScreens.com.com may be slightly different than our local repair locations. Prices may also vary from location to location due to logistics and sometimes limited parts availability.Q: Do I need to make an appointment to bring my device at an iFixScreens store?A: An appointment is not needed. They are only a design and engineering company. The parts Apple uses in their devices are bought from Chinese vendors and assembled in China. Many of the parts we use come from the similar vendors in China. So though we cannot claim that our parts are “from Apple” they are manufactured to the same strict OEM specifications and we are often unable to tell the difference.Q: Do you offer any discount for Students, Teachers, Military, and First responders?A: At iFixScreens we offer 10-20% discount for Students, Teachers, Active Duty Military, Veterans, Police Department, Fire Department, And all first responders with valid ID on phone repairs and accessories. Your storage chips stay completely untouched during the repair process. Learn more about how we protect your data during repairs.Q: Do I need to provide my passcode for repair?A: No. iFixScreens completes all repairs with devices in locked state. Our technicians never request passcodes, PINs, Face ID, or Touch ID authentication. We test screen functionality using only lock screen features and hardware diagnostics without accessing your personal files.Q: Should I back up my device before repair?A: Yes, we recommend creating a fresh backup within 24 hours before sending your device for mail-in repair. While screen replacement doesn’t affect your data, backups protect against rare shipping incidents. For walk-in repairs, backups provide peace of mind but aren’t required.Q: Do I need to factory reset my phone before repair?A: No—factory reset is unnecessary and creates data loss risk. Screen replacement requires zero system access, so resetting your device offers no security benefit and forces you to spend hours restoring from backup after repair. Read our complete data safety guide.Q: How does iFixScreens protect customer privacy?A: We implement strict privacy protocols including: locked device repairs (no passcode requests), external photography only (no screen captures), video surveillance monitoring (compliance enforcement), and explicit service agreements prohibiting data access. View our complete privacy protection protocols.Q: What if I forgot my passcode before repair?A: ?Forgotten passcodes don’t prevent screen replacement. Next send the device in for our water damaged service.Q: My device fell into water, should I let it dry out to see if works before I send it in?A: Though the device can sometimes begin working again on its own after water damage, it is very uncommon and not a likely outcome. It is more likely that corrosion and residue deposits will begin to form on the logic board making the repair process more difficult. We recommend sending the device in as soon as possible even if it is still wet as our chance at repairing the device increases substantially the sooner we receive it.Q: My device was water damaged and now everything seems to work fine except for one function, do I still need the full water damage service?A: Yes. Though only one function may not be working, it could be caused by a variety of things. For example, if your home button is not functioning properly, the issue may be caused by the home button flex, the lower dock connector assembly, the Logic board, or any combination of the three since the phone was water damaged.Q: How Long does water damage repair generally take?A: Water damage repair generally takes between 5-7 business days to complete depending on the level of damage. This estimate can vary however depending on the extent of the damage to the logic board and other components.Q: What if you are unable to save my water damaged device?A: If we are unable to repair your water damaged device for any reason, your payments will be refunded minus the cost of return shipping and your phone will be returned.
