Samsung Galaxy Note 10 : Rumors, Release Date And Specs<\/h1>\n

In this year 2019, we\u2019re expecting Samsung to continue this trend with the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. From the latest reports, news, rumors, pictures, and more.<\/p>\n

Here are the specs you should know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Galaxy Note 10: Release date and price<\/h2>\n

Samsung declared in a tweet<\/a> that Note 10 will be released at a Galaxy Unpacked event on August 7 in New York<\/strong>. Following the timeline of previous launches, we can expect the Note 10 and 10+ to be available for pre-order shortly thereafter and available in stores roughly the week of August 19.<\/p>\n

A recent rumor has suggested that the price will actually be increased by $100 or $200, with the base price topping $1,000.<\/p>\n

Specs of Galaxy Note 10:<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Battery:<\/h4>\n

Note 10 may sport a big, 4,300-mAh battery. This would be larger than the Note 9\u2019s 4,000-mAh battery and the 4,100-mAh Galaxy S10 Plus.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Design and Display:<\/h4>\n

The screen protector excludes space for the front-facing speaker earpiece. This means that Samsung has introduced a sound-on-display (SOD) speaker instead of a more outdated earpiece. This technology uses piezoelectric transducers behind the screen to send audio waves through the display, convert the display into a speaker, and remove the need for an additional earpiece.<\/p>\n

Points to give attention to include the single hole-punch camera at the top-center of the screen, the vertically stacked triple-lens camera set off to the side on the back, and no 3.5mm headphone jack. It\u2019s estimated the screen will measure around 6.3 inches, potentially making it the smaller of the two possible Note 10 devices in 2019.<\/p>\n

\u2022 S Pen:<\/h4>\n

A rumor published at the start of this year set blogs on fire across the web claiming that Samsung could put a camera inside the Galaxy Note\u2019s S Pen. Rumors also said that Galaxy Note10\u2019s S Pen will be largely indistinguishable from the S Pen of the Note9, which was the first major renovation of the pen\u2019s design in some years.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Camera:<\/h4>\n

Reports said that only the Note 10 Pro will get all four cameras, while the Note 10 will have three. The quad-camera setup would pave the way for Samsung to offer a standard camera, a telephoto lens, like the 5x optical zoom lens Samsung is just putting into production, and an ultra-wide snapper like the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s possible that the fourth camera could be a time-of-flight sensor. Based on the recent expansion of one of Samsung\u2019s component manufacturers to make additional TOF sensors, it\u2019s possible that both the Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will get this depth-sensing tech.<\/p>\n

\u2022 5G Versions:<\/h4>\n

Rumors about 5G are continuing. The recent news concerns the kernel source code for the Exynos chipset released by Samsung alongside the Galaxy S10 range. The code makes mention of a \u201cdavinci5g<\/em>\u201d \u2014 and since the current assumed code name of the Note 10 is \u201cDa Vinci,\u201d this appears that the standard Note 10 will support 5G connectivity.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fingerprint sensor:<\/h4>\n

This one hasn\u2019t been confirmed by Samsung, but all signs point to the company bringing the same in-display fingerprint sensor it offered in the Galaxy S10 to the Galaxy Note 10. The feature is one of the biggest upgrades in the Galaxy S10, and since the Galaxy Note 10 will aim for the same high-end market segment, it makes sense to look for it in Samsung\u2019s next flagship.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Software:<\/h4>\n

It\u2019s given that the Samsung phone will run on Android 9 Pie, and will come with Samsung\u2019s One UI along with all the pre-installed Samsung apps that accompany it.<\/p>\n

One notable addition that\u2019s rumored to come preinstalled on the Note 10 is Microsoft\u2019s Your Phone Companion, which links up Android phones to Windows 10 devices with many useful features like synced apps and video\/photo sharing.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Headphone jack and Buttons:<\/h4>\n

Samsung may not include the headphone jack on the Note 10. This would be a major shift in design since Galaxy phones are one of the few premium phones to still include the beloved 3.5mm audio port. The channels also reported that Samsung may replace physical buttons for the volume and power with pressure-sensitive edges, similar to the Pixel 3 and HTC U11 smartphones<\/a>.<\/p>\n
