Target Group

Wear AirPods Pro 2 and open Settings on your iPhone. Go to AirPods Pro settings > Hearing Health > Tap Take a hearing test.

How to Take the Hearing Test

Make sure that you are over 18. You must have no cold, allergies, or infections that may affect results. There should be no recent exposure to loud environments (within the past 24 hours).

Confirm

Use the right silicone ear tips for a good AirPods seal (avoid 3rd-party tips), enhancing sound and fit quality.

Fit Check

Tones of various frequencies and volumes play. Tap the screen when you hear any three-pulse tones. Left ear test happens first, followed by the right.

How it works

Hearing loss levels (dBHL): Little/no loss: up to 25. Mild: 26–40. Moderate: 41–60. Severe: 61–80. Profound: >80.
