Device Repair Technician

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Outstanding customer service skills
  2. Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills
  3. Exceptional organizational skills
  4. Strong written and oral communication skills
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  6. Work well in a team environment
  7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  8. High school diploma or GED
  9. Preferred Qualifications: * A+ Certification
  10. Soldering experience is a plus
  11. Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
  12. Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles
  13. Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
  14. Previous experience working at a retail electronics store
  15. Drivers License

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair devices
  • Provide recommendations for problem resolution
  • Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
  • Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
  • Sell used devices, accessories, prepaid plans, and any other products/services that we offer
  • Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed iFixScreens.com quality standards
  • Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor
  • Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations
  • Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding stock
  • Order parts /supplies as needed
  • Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and the real-time status of each repair
  • Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the repair

Compensation: Salary, Bonus, and Commission.
