Job Description:
Serve customers by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices while ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage the incoming and outgoing flow of devices and inventory. Train new hires and staff on iFixScreens.com repair processes.
Required Qualification:
You should have or intend to pursue, some of the following certifications, degrees or technical training. If you weren’t already planning on getting this stuff, this may not be the right job for you.
- 2 years or more professional experience repairing or upgrading electronics, tablets, smartphones, PC/MACs (laptops and/or desktops), or gaming consoles
Soldering experience - Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Work well in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred Qualifications: * A+ Certification
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
- Wise Certification*
- Wise certification will be provided by iFixScreens once hired
- Previous experience working at a retail electronics store
- Drivers License
- All employees must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Understand the device repair process and to ensure that all repairs meet quality standards.
- Ensure that the incoming and outgoing flow of devices and inventory is properly managed
- Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding stock
- Order parts /supplies as needed
- Train employees on proper device repair and sales/customer service procedures
- Ensure that employees are updated on required iFixScreens.com training and procedures
- Provide recommendations for problem resolution
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair devices
- Provide recommendations for problem resolution
- Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
- Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
- Sell used devices, accessories, prepaid plans, and any other products/services that we offer
- Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed iFixScreens.com quality standards
- Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor
- Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations
- Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and real-time status of each repair
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the repair
Compensation: Salary, Bonus, and Commission.
