Samsung Galaxy Tab S Is Hitting The Market And Is Going Hard Against Apple iPad! iFixScreens Has All The Information You Need To Know!
Samsung has recently announced their new line of tablets the Samsung Galaxy Tab S line. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S line is a high end, newly designed to have a sleek look, and sophisticated design.
Samsung announced that their will be two separate tablets to be released both which have mostly the same features but differ in size. One tablet will have a display of 8.4 inches while the other will be larger with a 10.5 inch display. Both Tab models will be 6.6mm thick which the 8.4-inch model will weigh .065 pounds while the 10.5-inch model will weigh 1.02 pounds. The larger and smaller sized tablets will have 2560×1600 resolution with AMOLED technology which differs from the iPad's LCD technology. The Samsung team insured that the tablet will be able to adapt to the lighting conditions you are in; which will increase the contrast, white balance, and brightness. Since the Samsung Galaxy Tab S is using AMOLED opposed to the LCD which usually consumes a majority of the battery life; Samsung is confident that their battery life will be much better since AMOLED does not have a back light.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S will come in both LTE and WiFi models. The LTE model will have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor while the WiFi model will have Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa processor. Both models will come with 16 GB of built-in storage, 3 GB of RAM, and will support up to 128 GB microSD. Both Tablets will include Bluetooth 4.0 low energy, WiFi, and sensors such as a compass and accelerometer.
Just like the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Samsung Tab S will include a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button. Samsung insured that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S will be easy to work with the Samsung Galaxy S5 with a new App called SlideSync. SlideSync will allow both devices to connect to each other via WiFi; once connected you can answer calls, share files and much more between the two devices.
The 10.5-inch and 8.4-inch will carry two cameras; one 8-megapixel main camera with flash, and a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera which are both capable of taking 1080p HD videos.
Even though the LTE model is to be released later this year the Samsung Galaxy Tab S is set to be released in July of this year in the WiFi model. The 10.5-inch will be $499 and the 8.4-inch will cost $399.
